JavaScript and DHTML content

With each browser release, the power of JavaScript and the extent in which it can influence a webpage increases. Look for the day when JavaScript eventually replaces both CGI and Java to become the sole surviving language on the web (ok, I'm day dreaming again, but hay, it's a free WWW).

Waking up, in this tutorial, we'll examine how to alter HTML content on the fly using JavaScript. We're examine the two mainstream techniques. Here is an example of dynamic content that changes every 2 seconds:
